I think it's kind of stupid for us to be pointing fingers at another country for something that happened over a century ago. It was war, bad things happened, but I think it's a little extreme to label it a genocide. I've always thought a genocide to be a mass murder for no reason except race, some of the Indian massacres in this country do qualify as a genocide some don't
Why is it even being brought up in our country at this point? The event isn't even important enough to make it into our history books. (I had to go look it up to even know what they were talking about)

Check out all the Cassino's owned and run by Indians. Do They help their own people? No.
I am 1/4th Cherokee so i am not be racist,but the Indians need to get out and get a job.Plenty do here in Oklahoma.They have Indian health care and it is terrible,but better than we are offered, What happen was terrible but we own them nothing.We didn't do anything to them.Our Ancestors did and i don't think we need to give them more.

No, most don't live dirt poor. In Oklahoma, Native America, Tribes own their own land, set up their own government, and even help non native Americans.
