Do any of you guys and gals still use VCR? Or have you gone completely digital?
We through out our VCR about 5 years ago and we now have a Blu-Ray Player!

Yes. I couldn't get rid of our VCR's as we have too many favourite videos that both adults and kids watch.
We have 4 VCR's in addition to our DVD players and computer links.
We don't buy any films on video anymore though, so I guess as the old ones wear out we will change over completely.

There are many out there that still use a VCR as a through put from their DVD players to their TV. Many leave their TV on ch.3 and do all their tuning with the VCR tuner and it's aux. mode. Many are still up-loading their tapes to DVD, a very time consuming process, so, yes, VCR's will be around a while yet. They are also quite cheap for all they can do.

I've got one of those DVD/VCR players that will record VCR to DVD, which is handy because I have lots of old camcorder tapes of my kids when they were babies, and VCR deteriorates with age.
And to the person who can't convert their parents - stop trying! They're happy with the technology they've got; and if VCR tapes become scarce in the main shops they're always available from Oxfam and eBay.

I still have VCR's. Basically because I have stuff on video that I need to burn to DVD and haven't yet.
I find it really weird to actually watch something on VCR now, though - having to rewind things when done, having to fast forward through certain things, instead of just going to the next chapter...

I might use a VCR when I go to college. I've got a lot of old videos and disney movies

Yes - but the kids video for next to nothing in charity shops - old classics like mary poppins and all the disney films. Have a dvd player too for the modern ones!

I do. I have a tv/vcr combi to watch old films in bed on cold or wet days.

Yes, got 4 them but 2 are used for security cameras, I still like them although I have a DVD recorder

Yeah I still use it but only to watch old home movies of me when I was small to give myself a good laugh.
We also have a DVD player aswell so we are not still stuck in the past.
