War is usually a product of groups wanting a resource of another group, and taking it (stealing it) through force. If we as a global community could stop hunger, poverty, disease, then this would shoot towards peace. Of course, there will still be some power hungry individuals who want to run the whole show...

Yes sooner or later that will happen. It would be nice if we could just all get along. That of course is not possible as long as there are those among us who believe they have the right to impose their beliefs on others. WW1, won by Representative governments, destroyed the old systems of monarchies that oppressed their people. WW2, won by Representative governments, destroyed the fascist regimes that oppressed their people, gave us the cold war, again won by Representative governments, destroyed most of and eventually all communist governments which oppressed their people. Eventually Representative governments will have to get around to destroying the religion based dictatorships of the Islamic world who oppress their people. The alternative is for them to win, liberty To be extinguished, and all of us to be slaves to an anti-human agenda promoted for the benefit of a very few.

If there is one more war, involving the whole word, then YES!
cause the last one, was two, before that, it was won, by the
Goodies. So yeh! three, what else would they call it, 2.5?
To try & bring big issuse into some perspective I can comprehend, I minimise, for instance, why don't they stop
polluting, the world. Look at my own circle of influence,
I put in minimal effort & awareness, regarding, reduceing waste, reuseing & recycling. I think of road rage, I can be
instantly ready for battle, my car can smell it & gallops up the
inside, good car woo boy, up yours too! If I wasn't turning right
here, I'd follow you, in a skilfull & menising maner, grrrr
then it's gone, lucky I wasn't, in charge of the button that lunches the bombs. read the Dalia Lama
We can PEACE it together.

Sooner than later. You now have atleast 6 potential World Powers. US, China, Russia, Japan, Israel , Germany ?
IRAN has become allies with Russia, China? and possibly Japan as she changes with their own new Prime Minister.
Among others.
Once the lines are clearly drawn there may be no point in diplomacy. To defeat the US and finally extinguish her as the #1 super power is goal to many in the mix.

for as long as humanity exists there will be war. the fact that we are all individuals means that we each have individual dreams and descisions. sometimes these descisions clash. thats called an argument. now mix in some power. power over country and people means that someone can use vast amounts of soldiers to enforce his side of the argument. now lets chop up a bit of religion and throw that in. the concept of religion means that another individual, a higher, holier and shinier looking guy, has all the "correct" descisions. because "all" of these descisions are predetermined centuries before the person was born then they must be true...right? and this, of course, means that an entire country, women, men and children (perhaps even the family guinea pig) will take up arms against anyone who disagrees.
to stop war completely you need to make sure that everybody thinks the same thing...and i dont agree with that in the slightest. i prefer to think for myself. if you disagree with this then tell me so without the use of soldiers.

I'm sure there will be at some point. But yes, it would be great if our country would spend all the money it spends on war towards peaceful efforts instead.

Looks likely, especially since President Bush has warned about WW III many times. Of course he keeps saying the other guys are starting it(Iran, Russia, China) but his rhetoric says something completely different.

The question is how far can the US push these guys before they push back.

Scientists set the Atomic clock at 10 minutes to midnight..... that's not good. It would be a good excuse to throw out the US Constitution and institute a Dictatorship.

of coz there will be , but not like the last one .......what you will see next is a nuclear device being detonated ...probably some where in largely populated country , its only a matter of time , who takes the blame will be another matter , and at this very moment there are people out there doing all they can to put one of these devices together .
