the doctor told my mom during the papsmere test that he felt something and that she should get a ultrasound, what do you think he felt? has this happened to you before?

Could be a cyst or may just be a check up to make sure you are ok.

Before the Gyne does the swabbing for the Paps smear, it is customary to examine the outside by inspection and to palpate the uterus and ovaries with one hand over the pubis and the other hand doing internal exam for masses such as myomas and cysts. She might have to undergo transvaginal ultrasound to determine the location, size of those abnormal structures.

He could have felt a cyst on your ovary. They are pretty common. An ultrasound doesn't hurt and it usually takes only a short time.
Better to know what it is than worry about it.

could be an ovarian cyst. very common and yes I have had one. before no big deal. but she should get it checked out.
