Assuming that no third party candidate enters the race whom the evangelical voters flock to, then Romney will probably win the evangelical vote.
The danger for Romney in a match up against Hillary isn't the Christian Fundamentalist voting for her, it's them not voting at all.

Howv's right. I don't see any Christian Fundamentalist voting for either. But sometimes you have to vote for the agenda of the party and not necessarily the person that's running for the party.

Romney is a Mormon, by definition it is a cult, so i doubt any intelligent Christian would be able to vote for him.
There are always 3rd parties you can vote for, they vary by state though and not many are national
Romney is way behind Rudi and Thompson in the polls anyways and hasnt been able to raise much money, his last quarter 60% of his "donations" were from his own personal fortune
Anyways, his previous pro-choice stances when he was governor make him unlikely to win too many "fundy" votes

By some weird twist of logic I think the conservative Christian block may vote for Romney, especially if it comes down to him and Hillary. I think they will feel he at least has respect for traditional family values (he does) and that she doesn't (not really true for works for the purposes of political attack ads).
I still think he may end up President.

I think a woman will win over a Mormon, especially in the Bible belt region. She gets my vote no matter who the Rep candidate is.
