Older people...well not old but about 35+ ....
Look at you funny if your wearing a Black Sabbath or a Nirvana tshirt! Sorry but just because teenagers (myself) werent born or only really when the band were at their best doesnt mean that we cant like the band!!
Its like teenagers saying to any adults who like bands around today "Oi you have to like the bands that were around when you were young, not like th ebands I like"
So yeah rant over! I'll wear and like whatever bands I like thanks!
What do other people think?!?!

Maybe its your imagination that they look at you that way because you expect them to
Anyone, young or old should be able to wear what they like without criticism as long as its not offensive

Dang nabbit! You younguns is always thinkin' that. We really don't care what you wear as long as it's appropriate (no pants worn with the waist around your knees, not having the shirt 3 sizes too small, and not wearing rock band tees to someplace like a funeral). Why, when I was your age...

Huh, where was I? Oh yeah. You can like whatever bands you like. We're more amazed that you can fit the tapes into those little Ipod Nano whozits.

I'm a well not really old person over 35+ & my son really loves Nirvana. If he wanted to wear a Nirvana t-shirt why not. He loves music from all eras so okay. I personally do not look at teenagers funny for wearing rock t-shirts.

I can honestly say I've never looked at teenagers 'funny' coz they are wearing t-shirts of bands from my era. Just had a thought though, I'd better check and see if my Dad (60+ and total black Sabbath fanatic) gives me funny looks when I wear one of their t-shirts! (I'm 41), or especially if his grandson (aged 10 )and into Black Sabbath, Bob Marley and Pink Floyd, puts on one of their t-shirts!! x

I never pass judgements on the way young people dress .
I can remember dressing like the bay city rollers and worse when i was young.
Its just a part of growing up

Look at this from the opposite perspective. I went to see Prince when I was 42 years old, bought the t-shirt and wore it for ages.

I am 50 and I read all shirts that come in to my work. Love seeing the ones that bring back memories. think you are reading too much into their expressions. may be good memories in their head too.
