To answer one of your questions; 'if you don't think anyone will get it right, why ask?' I'll explain. Some people like this sort of thing, I can never resist having a go at a quiz. And by the numbers of answers I have so far, I would say that a few people are interested in it. I would add this much; it's nothing to do with film.

It has nothing to do with racing cars, football, baseball, but I'l give a further clue. The two names you have are of teams that entered the competition.

Because the question and answer are so obscure, I'm going to give you all the biggest clue I possibly can, where to find the answer. You'll find in it the Guiness Book Of Winners And Champions; I don't think it will be online anywhere as I'm not sure that the competition still runs.
