If something happens to the President and Vice President, then the line of succession goes as follows:
1.Speaker of the House
2. President Pro Tempore of the Senate
3. Secretary of State
4. Secretary of the Treasury
5. Secretary of Defense
6. Attorney General
After the Attorney General, then the line of succession continues through the Secretaries of the various departments of government.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, then President Pro Tempore of the Senate, after that, it goes through the secretaries, with the Secretary of State being first.
