Why are you single?

I am single but my wife isn't.

Awwww first I would like to say, that those that said because they are unattractive, probably judge themselves too harshly. I bet you arent as bad you think! So get out there keep playing the fields and dont give up!
As for me, I hold standards that are hard to live by. Im a health nut and I have my ways of doing things. I dont really care if they are gorgeous or beautiful, but as long as they can keep up with my lifestyle physically. I'm also a MMA fighter so I train ALOT. Sometimes I think its almost not fair to potential people that I meet. I think my problem and the answer to your question is that I should lower my standard to how healthy she is.

I would guess that folks are single for many reasons.

* Recently divorced
* Too young to marry
* By choice (marriage is not the goal although society seems to push that)
* Or they may have been widowed

I suppose it's all dependent on that person.

I'm not. There are single people out there because that is what status you are before you meet someone. There has to be single people so that they can eventually be with someone. Plus, some people like being on their own. Good for them I say. If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!

Yes it is by choice. But sadly by HER choice to be single thus making me a heartbroken soul. :o(

yup i am single by choice and to be honest its hard work coz everyone around me is in a relationship but ive held out this long a little longer wont hurt i guess........so yeah single by choice....:)

I think I intimidate men with the fact that I am strong as hell (I have the muscle to prove it), so I feel it scares them away.

This is not by choice. I would love to have someone, but like I said, I think I scare them away and I deeply feel that I am just not pretty enough.

No its because I'm divorced and haven't met someone I would want to spend the rest of my life with, I think I prefer to be single.
