I gotta get serious here for a moment Dinglebury, be very very careful, silly string is incredibly flammable! For real man, keep the birthday candles and silly string in separate parts of the house. You don't want your son covered in silly string then trying to blow out the candles, it would be a very heartbreaking tragedy.
That being said, enough for two or three cans per kid.

How fun! You are a very cool mom. I'd get enough for each kid to have a couple of cans. Oh, and just in case you didn't know silly string is really flammable- so make sure no one sprays it when birthday candles are lit. Have fun and happy birthday to your little guy!

About 12 cans for each open flame you plan to have at the party. That should ensure some extra excitement!

At least 8 cases. And, don't forget to order the new carpet and furniture, but have them delivered after the party. LOL

silly string won't work-they'll just tear thru it.
i suggest a good hank of twine or some duct tape. if you bunch them(kids) all together. you should be able to get away with just buying one.

I'd say 10, one for each kid and two for you to retaliate .. Or at least hold your own against them!
