Al Gore just won the Noble Peace prize for his work on global warming. I see no correlation between peace and global warming, anyone else confused on this choice?

This is a very confusing issue. I'm not sure if there is any correlation between the two. The weather not getting any better and I don't see too much Peace on Earth lately.

I'm not sure where this question is going, but I have nothing against Al Gore.

If I take out the extra details, and just answer your question in the bold letters... i'd say yes. I believe there is a correlation.

This might sound stupid, but I'd bet that if it suddenly rained for 40 days and 40 nights in Iraq... all fighting would cease. Nobody wants to do anything outside when it's raining.

The Nobel peace prize is given to individuals who go above and beyond to do something for mankind...not necessarily peace.

If we die from pollution we will have no peace kinda like AIDS in Africa over $10,000 people are dying a week.
