It's not for me. Walk in the house, kick off my shoes, grab a beer and the remote, and put my feet up. Oh, and turn on music. Yes, both music and the TV. After that initial relaxing for 30 minutes I can get up and make dinner and put the laundry in, etc. Then relax again.

Well, Weekends were made for michelob. i think it's a state of mind. if you know you have the next 2 days off, like a friday, your more inclined to relax. if you know you have to get up tomorrow and do what you did today again, it makes you wanna go crazy.
it's like knowing you have an important meeting at 8 am the next morning, when you go to sleep your more inclined to not have a "Deep" sleep.
just think of each day as a step closer to the weekend!!!!

i dont know your circumstances but for me it wouild be because i work weekdays .
however if you know a few relaxing tips its possible to bring about that state at almost any time
