That would be totally funny. I imagine that it is illegal as you are impersonating a cop. That would be a great gag to videotape and then to add to YouTube (as long as no one got hurt).

Who cares? It's funny. The way the government works is they can arrest you for anything really (disturbing the peace, punlic nuisance, threat). But I doubt that would stick, and if you are going to get arrested for anything, make it that. It's something to tell the grandkids, and you can explain it to future employers and colleges, and make a joke out of it. The penalties won't be too huge at all. I'm talking a fine, or a warning.
Come back and tell us how it went.
Don't listen to the squares, you only live once!

Nope, it a form of entertainment around here. I also like to take my walkie-talkie into Walmart, find some ignorant kid working there, and point and gesture with the radio saying stuff like, "CODE 3 IN HOUSEWARES GO, GO, GO!", or "There's an elderly obese man stuck in the bathroom stall, run to the dairy section and get some butter, I'll meet you there, oh yeah get yourself some gloves!." The radio really sells it. People think if you have a radio in your hand your in charge.

No, there is no law against that. After all, people shouldn't be speeding in the first place. But with that said, it is a nasty thing to do. Most people are just trying to get to and from work and school and you are posing as the predator they try to avoid every day.

How would you power your hair dryer.... and why would you want to waste your time on something to stupid...
Are you being serious... if so. I could think of a lot more productive things to waste my energy on.

a radar gun looks nothing like a hair dryer. and if you cause a wreak then you can go to jail. the good thing is you can plead insanity.

That sounds like fun! :) I don't think there's any law against wearing sunglasses and holding a hairdryer up. Go ahead, try it. :)
