I think that you can kill yourself in any of them.

i think that they are pretty much evenly matched .
i had a yamaha tzr 125 as a starter bike and it served me very well indeed. have moved on to a kawasaki 9r now so i am more of a fan of the kawasaki make.
all of these bikes are made well . The japanese have a superb rep for quality build and reliabilty . So unless you are buying new it comes down to the condition of the bike .
i would take a peek at some examples of all of them and see what you find most comfortable to sit on . like the look of ect and then once the model has been decided go all out to find the very best condition used bike that you can.
personaly in the same position as you i would buy a nsr .
i dont need to remind you that coming off a bike is far more likley to end fataly than any other form of transport . as the above answers have already done so .
bikes are great fun and addictive but when you make a mistake you run the risk of injury and or death so ride with safety in mind always , and with a hightened sense of alertness looking as far ahead as you can . I have had 6 accidents in 10 years and not a single one was my fault.
good luck with your choice .

The bikes are not available in the US so it is hard to say, but you really can't go wrong with anything from Honda, Kawi, Yamaha or Suzuki. These 150cc repli-racers seem pretty similar.

Well, these aren't anything I've seen here in the states, but of the three I'd vote for the Honda. Honda builds great bikes and has a excellent supply chain for parts if they are needed.

in my husband's line of work, they call people who ride motorcycles "organ donors"

they're pretty to look at, but that's about all...

be careful out there!
