Here in Florida it is still 85 during the day and a cool 75 at night, some nights in the high sixties. We won't need heat until maybe late in November or December sometime.
Moved here 8 years ago to avoid paying for the heat for 6-9 months a year. But now I pay for AC for about four months. The rest of the time it is very nice or a little brisk. Maybe three to seven weeks of weather that MAY warrant turning on the heater or pulling another blankey or sweater.
Sorry......suckers! Heating oil prices tripled yet? They will!

Hi,
I have cold fingers and toes, so I bung the central heating on to Mach 3.
Then I get told off, as others in the household are too warm.
I cannot strike a balance !
Perhaps it is living for many a year in hot climes, where I would shiver if the air-con was turned up too far.

I now wear three layers of garments to go out and about.

I like heat. I hate cold.

Bob

I'm warm enough without having to turn the heat on yet. *knocks wood* This is in St. Louis, Missouri, which is pretty mild.

No I'm freezing.. I have 3 portable heaters they are too small. The friggin pellet stove auger does not work so I am hand feeding it.I have baseboard heat but it's way too much money. Got the electric bill down to 44.00 last month..Hope the roommate upstairs isn't frozen yet.

Yes i have the heating on and my hands are still frozen.

It was 28 degrees in Australia (which is resonable hot) but I love it when it is scolding hot.

I think I am a bit of a reptile and need the sun to get hott.

No....Im sitting here shivering still in my nightie. I switched off the central heating this morning because the sun was out but I had better go and put some warm clothing on and put the heating on "high". Thanks for reminding me to get up off of this chair and do something about it. :D
