i want to connect to my frnds computer and it should be like a LAN connection.........anyone knw any software for ths job..plzz..help

Actually this is just a VPN (virtual private network). There are lots of ways to setup one easily. You can use LogMeIn which is the easiest way to setup both machines.

Yes, this is a very common concept in network engineering nowadays. It is called a VLAN. Do a google search on that and you'll find a ton of hits.
