pop·pet
–noun 1. Also called poppet valve. Machinery. a rising and falling valve consisting of a disk at the end of a vertically set stem, used in internal-combustion and steam engines.
2. British Dialect. a term of endearment for a girl or child.
3. Nautical. any of the vertical timbers bracing the bow or stern of a vessel about to be launched.
No I do not have a "poppet" in my pocket and don't think I'll ever have a pocket big enough to fit one in.
Edit: Looked in the urban dictionary......it's still not anything you can put in your pocket.

Poppet! That's so funny...
The other day when I was taking my son to his Gran's, we kept yelling " 'Allo Poppet!" out the window at people..
But when I tried the next day to get my husband to do it, he just got all Grumpy at me.
