Erm - wheres the oil that was in it gone ??? You would need to find any leak and fix it first xx

Why would you want to?? I've done this twice. I suggest that you contact Dimplex, since they probably made it. It is special oil and the quantity must be correct. It is ESSENTIAL to leave the correct air space for expansion or ir WILL explode.
