There are a couple of things that I noticed over the past couple of games that slow down Brady and that wide-open passing offense. Coverage isn't exactly one of them, but at least Washington has five excellent secondary players (four if Shawn Spings is still in Dallas by the weekend for his father). A hard inside pass rush (that would be up to London Fletcher and Cornelius Griffin) is something that Washington could supply. The problem is sustaining it-getting Brady and the Pats offense off the field and keeping your own offense on the field against their D. Since the Redskins kind of go in fits and starts, they've got an inside shot if they play their A game, all game.

I wouldn't bet on it but the Redskins will provide a challenge to the Pats. The Pats will have to continue to play very well in order to beat the Redskins.
The Redskins, despite having a young QB, are not likely to beat themselves. Regardless, the Pats have too many weapons on offense and the Redskins have too few.
Pats - 31
Skins - 17

The most dangerous team they're facing soon is the 0-6 Dolphins, they need their first win and if they beat the Pats then that'll be motivation to turn their season around. Do something Pat hags....

Hope so, but with the depleted offensive line of the Redskins right now, I doubt that the Skins offense will be able to protect their quarterback, or run at all......
I had high hopes that this season was going to be a break-out year for the Skins, but since the first game of the regular season, the O-line has been decimated....and to be honest, the offense hasn't showed any stability YET.....I'm tired of these sub 20 point outings

I see the possibility that the Skins could beat them. Washington's secondary will at least keep them in check if not totally shut them down, and keep their offense in the game. New England's defense seems to get a bit softer each week, so I don't believe their dominance will continue on both sides of the ball. The offense does feature a lot of weapons, but as defenses start to figure out their run game that seems to change every week, then the offense will become one dimensional and they will end up in shootouts. That always seems to come back to haunt a team.

As a pats fan, I'd say not likely. The team that shut them out last season is the team they are playing this weekend, the Dolphins. Sometimes when you have a nemesis, they come back to haunt you year in and year out. I'd say this weekend, if a loss is to come, it'd be them. ( I hope not though !!)

Moss, Randel El,Portis, and Campbell will hand out a butt whipping of Brady and company.Edited to add: I forgot they were playing Miami this weekend. That will be the first Pats loss. They will drop 2 in a row.

No. I think the Steelers will be their first loss. They are playing like they did in 05. But hey you never know right? Any given Sunday.

Redskins are not even close to being the caliber of the Patriots. I hate them too but they are dang good. They have too many weapons.Redskins need to beat Dallas before they will even come close to first.
