Much more than monkey business. Seems to have reached a new level.
People pay there money,go to the cricket, and its an escape form the everyday life. they seem to drink more and have a bit of fun.
I know in Australia opinion is probably divided if Murali is a chucker or not. I can safely say no-one cares too much to lose sleep over it. When a small portion of the crowd yell "no-ball" when he bowls they don't really care, they are just having a bit of fun because they know it winds him up a bit. So much so that he has refused to tour in the past.
I do not see how calling "no ball" is racist. Sri Lanka have always been popular tourists here especially when Jayusuriya and Kaluwitharana used to open together.
Do thest two examples parrellel? or is Symonds worse because it can be related to his West Indian looks?
Should players have to put up with this? Is it just part of the game? is it acceptable?
... i want to hear your honest unbiased opinion.

Moral? Ethical? Right or wrong? This is how you can tell if what you want to do is a sin. Sit down. Take a few deep breathes. Relax. Visualize yourself sitting with Jesus. He is in the room with you. Just concentrate on feeling His presence. You will know when you have made the connection because you will feel mortified, ashamed of all the things you have done which were selfish, manipulative, malignant and dishonest. You will know. He is with you. Then, visualize yourself doing what you feel is natural for yourself and if you feel mortified and embarrassed in front of Jesus, it is a sin and it is wrong. Jesus is always with us. His spirit is in us. We are never alone. Most people go their whole lives and never realize that, but it doesn't change the facts. By mortal standards, Jesus is a supernatural being.

well racist comments are never accepted.
& though Merali's case cant be termed as racist, yet its unacceptable. Chucking is a term which now cant be used with murali as he bowls under the ICC regulations. its more of Austrailia's personl reaction. And when whole crowd starts to comment upon his action its got to be tough for him.

& if anyone really gave racist comment upon Symonds , its really pathetic. he have have differnt look but we all know he's a tremendous player. he must be respected everywhere, although his own behaviour or views abt others come under question as well? should he be allowed to say anything abt anyone in the world?

Murali being no balled and the subsequent chants from the stadium were intended to be deterogatory. So don't you think KARMA caught up with Symonds & Australia?

I quite agree with Allan Border and Mark Waugh. They said that calling someone a monkey isn't racist. Its just tactic used by the fans to get under the skins of the away teams.

If I am not mistaken, Barmy army actually made a song for Warne during the Ashes '05 and heckled him whenever they would see him doing anything. So did Warney take it seriously? NO. He had sense to understand that the fans will try to distract you.

I think its highly irresponsible to blow all this out-of-context.

FACT:
1999, Inzam-ul-Haq had fued with a crowd member. just because the guy from the crowd praising India.
and ul-Hak went to jail and paid fine.

Symonds is a cricket player yet he's just overacting on this

technically you can't do anything to crowd. you can't put the entire crowds in Jail.

Plz don't involve Indians with the 'MURALI CONTROVERSY'.

How can you drag us to that incident? Indians like myself don't use the Murali incident as an excuse.to prove our point.

I have posted long-long comments on that issue. Have i ever included that Murali incident in it or The Jayasuriya.incident.

I am not a fool. It should not be Ind-Aus-SL

Make it 1 on 1.

What ever you do with Lankans is none of our business & we don't give a monkey's .. about it.

Ok, cool & thumbs up & plz forget about that incident now.
It's getting too much. I will become mad, dude.
Do me a favor & dump that crappy issue.
