Phone calls to your mobile with restricted numbers, you answer then the person breaks the connection, can't they just say "Sorry, wrong number."?
Just had 4 such in last 20 minutes, longest four seconds!

It will probably be a company has got hold of your number and just keeps redialing via a computer but they don't have the manpower to deal with every single call so the computer hangs up when the connection is made. If you are in UK, BT can stop them from accessing you phone.

Oh makes me so mad, when I see a number I don't know I just don't answer it and if they leave a message call after the rates are free to tell the person they got the wrong number. And If it's the same number time after time then keep them blocked and use method I suggested first

Usually don't know about it until after the fact!
The phone can be like a jealous lover always hanging around, talkin s**t, trying to take up all your time, endless interruptions, always too big or too small - but that's okay I got it's number and i'm not afraid to push it's buttons!

Very possibly, it's not a "wrong number". It could be that someone is intent on bothering you specifically. Don't answer any more calls that the number is not displayed. Once you ignore the calls, they will stop.

Yes its really annoying, I'm always left wondering ,
Its courtesy to just say" Sorry i think i have the wrong number "
That's all it takes, It doesn't hurt to be polite

Here is an advice:
Never answer a restricted number call. If it's improtant they will leave you voicemail, call them back then.
This will save you time and hassle!

I don't answer any withheld number calls to my mobile. They can leave me a voice mail if its important.

yo mate!
Some of my colleagues do this all the time...
I never take their calls. I let them come to me in their own time.
The logic is:
If you don't show yourself to me, why should i bother communicating with you huh? Besides, you called first!
haha
