i am writing a song and need help with the lyrics !!?

I'm a guy putting this in a woman's point of view. Wish me luck:

The sun comes up to say hello
But I turn away instead
With my head down on the pillow
Alone here in this bed

I don't ever want to wake up

I could put on rouge and makeup
But it's as if my heart has died

Cause I can't cover up what's missing when you're gone
I just discovered what I need to carry on
How much more can I take?
Do I have to stay awake?
Or can I cover up the pain
By pulling the covers up again?

It does not scan, and does not rhyme. You need to do that with the first four lines before a fifth will fit.

For example:

The sun came up to say hello
But I won't rise today
I'll bury my head under my pillow
'Cause you are far away
My heart is aching, might be breaking,
'Cause you are far away.

Of course, rhyming away and today or aching and breaking are kind of common, rather like love and above. I will save my real gems for my wife.
