How long do you take it before you snap? Have you ever slapped someone?

Yeah I slapped a bloke once after I snapped.
He would not take no for an answer - I was only 16 ... I can now throw a punch instead

It takes me at least an hour to get to the point of feeling like I want to beat somebody senseless. LOL
Rule here is if I say.... " Get away from me now. Go to your room, go outside, go to the basement or anywhere else you want to go.. I don't care where, just go! " That person is smart enough to know to go. Saves them a slap and me guilty feelings.
Sometimes, I can clear a room really fast! LOL

i have never slapped anyone. i have been pushed to the brink, but i usually walk away before it escalates to that level.
when i snap i tend to do it verbally and then go punch a wall or slam things.

No I haven't ever slapped anyone. It seems a bit Victorian to me. I haven't head butted anyone either (which is more of a modern thing to do I think) but I have definitely wanted to. My target - My Boss.

Once, when my daughter was around 16, she was really really being a smart mouth and disrespecting me. I told her if she didn't stop talking ugly that I would slap her face. She then proceeded to tell me that I wasn't going to slap her face. So, I was obliged to prove her wrong. She then yelled at me, "You won't slap my face again!" In which case, I had to show her otherwise. She then proceeded to say, "You won't sl..........." and stopped herself if mid-sentence. I was really glad she stopped sassing me, I didn't enjoy this situation a bit.

I try not to snap...I walk away...=-)
