I've taken Wellbutrin and the first time I tried it, I broke out in huge hives. I quit taking it and tried again in a month and I was fine. I didn't take it for anxiety or depression, I took it to quit smoking and it worked like a charm....I was smoke free in 6 days! It has the same active ingredients in it as Zyban which is usually prescribed to quit smoking. I had none of the side effects you mentioned. I'd stick with it for another week until your body adjusts to something new in your system and see if it settles down. If not, I'd ask your doctor to try you on something else that your system might tolerate better. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find what works best for you. You could try St. Johns Wort....apparently it works like Prozac. You can get it anywhere that sells vitamins and supplements. You CANT take it together with prescribed medication

I'm not sure what is in Seredyn, so I can't speak as to whether it will work or not, however, here is a list of herbs that can be used for your condition: St. John's Wort, Wood Betony, Lavender, Chamomile, Valerian Root, Scullcap, Wormwood. The St John's can make you photosensitive, so no tanning & if you go out in the sun, use sunscreen. Valarian Root can make you sleepy, so use only at night & dont drive until you know how it will effect you. I would make a tea out of the Scullcap, Wood Betony & Lavender. (equal portions). I've used that blend with clients who have anxiety & they reported relief of symptoms after using it. Just blend them together & then make a cup of tea. (1 teaspoon per 8 oz hot water). You may drink this as needed. Good luck!

Essential oils that are good for panic attacks include Lavender, Chamomile, Marjoram (a balancing oil), Ylang Ylang and Orange.

Many of them are also good as herbs - for example Chamomile tea is very calming and relaxing and I've known women to add some lavender to their chamomile tea for added soothing effects.

Would love to hear more about how Seredyn works out for you!
