when pensioners retire and migrate to the countryside in the uk from cities what problems are caused for them? e.g shops, social, injuries or being away from hospitals etc

I would love to do that, but I think you would need a very reliable car and a neighbour not too far away. The peace and quiet would outway any worries for me.

I did it ten years ago never regretted it only snag you have to travel long distances to hospitals, supermarkets etc and I do miss the variety of ethnic restaurants that city people enjoy but the peace and quite is a real blessing.

Meds, groceries, and loving to just shop around, seeing different people, you just can't make a quick run and get anything any more. That can run into costing a little more than you want to spend..

living downtown is great for seniors because its all handy nearby,there are added costs and time in the countryside
