so in 8 hrs, one many can assemble 8 * 3/4 = 6 machine

1 man can assemble 12 machine*s* in 1 hour. 8 men can assemble 12 machines in 8 hours. 24 = 3 x 8 men can assemble 36 = 3 x 12 machine*s* in 8 hours.
Assuming this is a pure arithmetic question. If one man can clean a room in 60 minutes (1 hour), 60 men *cannot* clean the room in 1 minute: they'll be walking over each other...
