When I turned 18 the drinking age was 18......then when I turned 20 they changed the drinking age to 21 and I had to stop drinking for a year. That sucked.
I'm in Louisiana, USA.

19 in the Province of British Columbia Canada and I think it should be lower. What I mean by that is if you are legally O.K.'d to join the military at say 16 then that should be the legal drinking age.

In UK it is illegal to give anyone under the age of 5 alcohol, after that it is legal apparently! Anyone over 14 can take alcohol with a meal in a family pub must be with food though. You must be 18 to purchase alcohol.
