Yes I know can't really compare 2 cities like this, but reason is that I would like to have a holiday there soon, and can't really decide of where to go. I will be there for app. 9 days, and I would like it to be be a satisfying break, where I can explore and have fun. I'm from London, so would like to see something totally different than rainy days. Any suggestions?

Los Angeles for certain! I have lived in both states (California and Florida), and L.A. has tons more to offer in and around the city!!!!! Do some research online, and plan your trip though, because you won't want to miss certain things in L.A., such as the L.A. Zoo, or Hollywood, or a lot of the amusement parks! Oh, and of course, ya gotta visit the beaches in L.A., from Malibu to Huntington!!!!!! :)
Miami is a dangerous and dirty city if you aren't careful, a great alternative might be Fort Lauderdale or Orlando!!!!! :(

Well since Los Angeles is abreviatted LA,and in the South everyone knows LA stands for Lower Alabama,which is Florida then Florida will be the correct answer.
