when the weather gets cooler?

mine is open right now and it never closes cuz i'd rather be cold than stuffy

Not often. That's because I have dogs, and so does everybody else in this neighborhood. If the windows are open, my Miniature Pinschers can hear all the outside dogs barking. Then they want to answer them. At about 4:00 in the morning, I'm just not ready for that much canine conversation. Also, with the crime rate, I'm not nuts about leaving windows open. However, I do like the idea of sleeping with the windows open at times, and when I travel, sometimes I do it.

ALWAYS. Even in the dead of winter. My room temperature drops into the 50's at night. On weekdays, I get up half an hour earlier to switch on all my space heaters, shut the windows, and go back to sleep. I hate showering and dressing if it's not at least 70 degrees. But I can't sleep if it's 70 either.
There was one time it got so cold in my room, the smoke detector went off.
Another time, it was 0 outside and I left the windows open! I went to a friend's place and when I got back, it was 40 degrees in my bedroom!

I love to do that! I used to sleep with the windows open every night in the old apartment I lived in, where my bedroom was on the second floor. Sadly now I'm back on the first floor in this new place, so I can't sleep with the windows open unless my fiance is sleeping next to me to protect me from intruders. ;)

Yes. It's very refreshing. I love the crisp air. I usually open the windows and close the doors, and let it freshen the stale indoor air before I go to bed.

I did this recently and I believe I got this cold from that. Or could just be the fact that I work with kids and they passed it on to me.
