Has anyone else noticed that jeans are longer than other pants of the same length? Is this a recent trend?

If I get jeans the same length as my other pants, the cuff will go under my heel and I'll get walking on it.

Can anyone explain this?

Yes this is fashion, but if you think about it, this is the days of the high rollers that if something gets damaged then ya go buy another pair the next day. A true thug will not get lint on his cap without buying another cap...

When you buy your jeans, have them hemmed to suit you by the shop's tailor. If the jeans are manufactured a bit long, then the shops can accomodate their taller customers, and can cut and hem for the shorter people.
