I heard something about the Turkish Parliament deciding to approve an incursion or plans to attack northern Iraq. What does it have to do with the high price petroleum reached.

Talk about a disconnected set of questions ----. The radical Kurds are comfortable with risking the chance of an independent Iraqi Kurdistan to enslave the Turks in eastern Turkey under a Kurdish minority. Basically it is the same old game of gimme more power. The Turkish Parliament gave the Prime Minister the power to invade northern Iraq to attack the radical Kurds who are no more then basic terrorists. It has absolutely nothing to do with oil or the price of oil. It has everything to do with providing security for Turkish citizens. Having said that, if Turkey hadn't had a tizzy fit at the beginning of the Iraq war and invaded along with the USA, this would not be a concern now. They are drowning in their own stupidity.

This "War" has been going on for many years now, the Turks shot a volley of artillery shells at a mountain in Kurdistan and the Kurds do the same, no one gets hurt. At least no one has in the past.

Lately, with the U.S. and now the El Quida rebels hiding in these very mountains, the Turks and the Kurds have taken a different look at the way it's being fought.
Now the Turks want to invade Kurdistan insisting if the Americans can do that (invading) then they can too.
So, you see what it has created?
