my son did the same thing.I took him to the doctor and they said that as long as he was still drinking his milk, he'll be fine. I think my son was just drinking milk until his teeth broke through the gums.

Could very well be due to teething. Could be getting sick but I doubt that very much. The main culprit I think is the teeth. I have 2 of my own and the doctor told me that's all normal and not to worry about him/her not eating much. He explained that babies will eat when hungry enough and they will not let themselves starve. Maybe try offering cool things like a popsicle cut in pieces, or cut up pickle. As long as he's drinking normal I wouldn't worry too much. Just let it run it's course.

Very possibly teething, but could also be the start of a cold and he just doesn't feel like eating. My little one preferred a stainless steel teaspoon when he was teething and bit on it a lot! You're right not to worry !! Keep offering what he likes - he'll not starve himself.

As long as he is still drinking milk I wouldn't worry. Teething is a very painful business and I think a lot of people wouldn't want to eat with a sore mouth.

As long as he is drinking,-the old saying goes -when he's hungry, he'll eat-all babies go thru this stage-lasts for a couple days, then it seems they cant get enough to make up for it-unless he is having other symptons such as fever-vomiting there is no need for medical intervention. babies store up enough fat to go thru these stages and it wont be the last time he does it.

this is normal, don't worry..just make sure that they baby is getting plenty of fluid. If they child is still on formula then they will be getting the vitamins and nutrients that they need..if not maybe you can give them a can of children insure, which has vitamins and nutrients.

Mine lost his appetite for several days when cutting his. It was a little freaky to me, but he still nursed & had wet diapers.
Just make sure that he's getting plenty of fluid & he shoud be just fine :) Call your pediatritian if you have any concerns :)
