how can i catch rayquaza in pokemon emerald?

im already on his tower but i cant carch him.

ok first u gotta find team aqua and magma's bases

there u will see Kygore and groudon

but they wil run away


then the'll be rain and bad weather

then u gotta go solopotis city

there u'll go in cave of origin

steve will ask u where is rayquazza's cave

say sky tower

then u have to gothere through surf .
(entrance will be open now)

get in and go to the top storey

there rayquazza will see u and run away
go back to solopotis city and rayquazza will come there

he will put fighting Kygore And groudon back to sleep

then defeat Elite 4

go to the the weather station

where the scientist says is sunny (u'll find groudon there)

where he says rainy( u'll find Kygore)

where he says all ok(or somethin else)

U'LL FIND RAYQUAAZA THERE!!

Take lot's of ultra balls and timer balls,revive and hyper potion

then just before u fight rayquazza save ur game

take pokemon who can freeze ,paralyze or make rayquazza sleep(not recommended)

then try to catch rayquazza by first making him paralyzed or frozen when his hp is in red then throw ultra ball . throw a timer ball every 20 ultra balls.

it takes 2-4 tries to catch him :)

If you don't want to waste your masterball (I can guess that you don't) then a pile of ultra balls, timer balls, well, every ball really - my sister caught one in a pokeball once! and some high-level pokemon that won't faint the first time Rayquaza attacks might help a lot.

Pokemon I've used to catch Rayquaza:
High-level pokemon with false swipe (Sceptile learns this attack, so does Zangoose)
Pokemon with status attacks (Sing, relicanth's Yawn, or paralysis inducing attacks)
and just ones that can take a lot of damage - you might need a lot of revives and hyper potions also just in case.

Once you get him into the red, throw the balls - I used to make a pattern of it - 5 ultra, 5 timer, 5 great, 5 ultra, and so on. Rayquaza has Rest, which gets annoying, but with luck (and patience) it WILL be yours!

As with all legendaries, He is a pain to catch. Just keep throwing Ultra Balls, It's gonna take a long time, so just be patient and you'll get him eventually.
