so my lease is my worry because i dont want to live somewhere were i spent days with him and was abused
i moved out, if he stays longer than a month a jail i have to break the lease for both of us because we will be evicted and that would be worse than breaking lease, for some reason i feel sorry for him he doesnt have a place to go if we break the lease

Do not feel sorry for him. Get rid of him. Domestic violence does not get better or go away. It gets progressively worse until you end up dead. What he gets depends on the judge that he appears before. I would leave before he does. Good luck.

When people are abused by those that they believe love them it is normal to feel sorry for that person. You only feel sorry for him because you love him but DO NOT forget what he did to you. Beware of the obvious signs of abuse. Physical is the most obvious but it usually starts with verbal then turns to physical. To tell you the truth if he was not charged with a felony then he might be able to get a good lawyer to get him out of it. There are a lot of worse things that could have happened and breaking a lease is the least of your worries. Be thankful you are alive and have no serious unjuries. You need to let him go dont sit around hoping he will change and put yourself in more danger. As long as he gets away with what he does he will use it againt you to keep his control. If you let him back in he can and will use the system against you. Beware of men like this they know how the system works once they have been through it and will use it against you. Most women do not realize this and are unaware that the police will react if he calls them on you then you will be charged as well. Be smart and cut all ties with this man.

Babe, you feel sorry for him??

He knocked you to the floor, dragged you to the "love" seat, nearly choked you then hit you in the face.

Break your lease before he breaks your neck or kills you. He will never learn that this is NOT okay unless you call him on it. Congratulations for having the strength to call the police and have him arrested - he deserves it.

Leave him and move on with your life. He does not deserve you. Good luck.

Don't you dare feel sorry for him!!! Keep him locked up, get a restraining order, they're free I believe.
See if your landlord has any compassion, to your advantage only this time, there many have complaints about all the fights......
You could possibly sublet your apartment...
Also, you could get a free consultation with an attorney, with a list of prepared questions, including tennants rights, DIVORCE!!!!!
Consult a support group for battered women, get all the information and help you can!!
Save your life!! Any witnesses, pictures, doctor records..........keep him locked up til you are gone!!

Just talk to your landlord...With what happened they may be willing to let you out of your lease, they want no problems there...Its best with what he did for you to move on anyways...He could get a month, he could get a year...More than likely he will get a few days or a month...
