99% ? Where did you get this statistic?
There are a lot of cheating men out there, and cheating women too, but I don’t believe for a minute, that it’s 99%, so site your source.

Wow. I didn't realize that that was the case. I am a guy, and I have had 2 wives cheat on me. I never even thought about cheating, I must be that 1 % guy.
You really should get more accurate information before making a statement like that.
Both men and women cheat and the actual percentages are closer than you might think.
There is no good reason for it other than to say selfishness.

Where did this 99% come from? I'm sure that 'Most' men don't cheat. Is it perhaps that most of the men you know or have been out with have cheated on you?

I'd really like to know where you got that statistic from? As far as i'm concerned there's good & bad in both sexes cos women cheat too! I don't believe "MOST" men, or women for that matter, cheat. I think a better word to use would be "SOME"!

I hate to say this but there are really no facts here on which to base a real opinion. There is a lot of hearsay and conjecture. The fact that a man, whom she knows is obsessed with her ex, says he had a relationship with her ex should be suspicious in and of itself. I can say that I had an affair with Matt Damon, but it doesn't make it true. Second, it appears based on the chronology above that your friend and her man had broken up and gone to separate places in the world. EVEN IF he did have a relationship with this gay man, he did not cheat if they were broken up at the time.

i like the long answer with lots of reason ,but it is not always about sex.men cheat because they are bored .so do women can cheat.WE CAN NOT CONTROL WHAT WE FEEL BUT WE CAN CONTROL WHAT WE DO.my husband cheated and we are getting divorce but still i believe in love and that not 99 % of men are cheaters,only they misjuged things do not give their life the credit ,do not appreciate having what is in hands,LIVING A DREAM THAT DOES NOT REALLY EXIST INSTEAD OF FIXING THE REALITY.that is the way I see it!!!

Sorry but most status say it's in the 40% range and for women it's in the 32% range!
Just read a artical about it and it opend my eyes to what us women have been thinking these days!
Depressing to say, but I see no end to the fact we wont accept our marriages without something on the side these days!

Sounds like someone's been burned. I think most people, maybe closer to 70% cheat on some level, even if its just emotionally or juts makign somethign else more imnportant than your marraige

I've never cheated yet I've had it done to me 3 times. I refuse to believe that I am part of a 1% group of guys.Sorry.
