Yes, stimulation of the male prostate gland can increase sexual pleasure and the easiest way to get to it is via the anus. The area between the male penis and anus is often called their 'choda' and stimulation of that with a vibrator can increase the male's sexual pleasure. No doubt about it, you could definately intensify a man's orgasm by sticking a finger (or something else) up there. It's an extremely sensitive area.
Most guys that I've met aren't too keen to try however, can't seem to get round what they see as the "gay factor"

Yes. I had it happen to me during a physical when my prostrate was checked. The Dr. said it might happen and I didn't believe him. Found out since then that the gay crowd calls it 'fisting'.
