...to the very degree that there is no discrimination, we all get paid the same, regardless of job or rank, and nobody is superior to one another...or someone isn't treated like an idiot, you know, we all just work together for the benifit of each other. the only exception would be members of the gov who control everything in your life, spying on you, so that you don't do harm to others, which directly effects our little system we have going on here. what do you think about that? it is fair, unlike the system we have now where the rich just seem to get richer and the average citizen is treated like crap.

Some people still get equality confused with sameness Equality would mean doesn't mean everyone is paid the same or treated like copies of everyone else. Equality still means a man can be paid more but only if he is truly more qualified. Being a man doesn't make him more qualified. A women can be more qualified. No one can be judged on tradition beliefs only facts. Your dads opinion isn't fact to the rest of the world just you.

if there was no capitalism the computer you are now typing on would not exist nor the internet it is sening your question over.

Capitalism brings about good things. With competition come invetivness.

Look at it like this. Take kids that play sports at a school that doesnt keep score as not to offend the losing team and take one who keeps score and has winners and losers. See which one produces the best players.

If people dont benifit from hard work they just do enough to get by. Why work hard if I become the manager I make the same amount as the guy who picks his nose for 8 hours.

let me ask you a question what if in our current system of democracy after all the cream rises to the top(corporations) and the elite who run them tried to do that .Create corporate communism here in the united states - It wouldnt even have to be delibrate . top people paid a lot of money to make sure their corporations continue to gain marketshare and closing loopholes so the small guy can never find a niche -also they make global treaties to find the cheapest source of labor thus bringing labor costs dow worldwide - finally generation after generation leadership is replaced by new ceos and board members who influence govt to do what is in their best interest not the citizens -thus creating corporate communism where everbody works for one of these bodies one way or another-it would be a great thing if I were a CEO or on a board but I am not and neither is 99% of the population -so do I think we should live in a world where everyone is equal no but I believe we should live in a world where everyone has equal opportuniy to become whatever they endeavour to be

I don't think so. Everybody is not equal in their ability, so you must bring down everybody to the lowest common denominator in order to have equality. I can't make you more talented by magically transferring some of my ability to you. It is an outright absurdity to suggest that nobody is superior to anybody else and is one of the most dangerous ideas ever thought.

What we need instead is a society in which everybody's status is determined by their ability, not by their political influence (as is the case in the Corporatist society of today). Instead, we should have a natural aristocracy of the best among us and everybody receiving exactly what they deserve. The only way to achieve this is with the pure free market.

The Classical Liberals had one main error. They wrongly believed that liberty and equality are compatible ideas, rather than directly opposed ideas (though, of course, they recognized that there is no such thing as "economic" or "personal" liberties, but rather only liberties; you can't have a right to life or to liberty without the right to property, which is the most basic right, nor can you have a right to free speech, a free press, or any other right without protecting property rights).

What you speak of is communism...the problem with it is that there is no incentive system. Why would I go to school for 8 yrs work hard and become a doctor, if I could work as a bank teller, or gas station attendant for the same wages. We are not born equally intelligent, or equally motivated to work hard so why should we all enjoy the same benefits. Unfortunately the world can not be equal, humans are not that selfless, and while our society isn't the best, it works.

In theory your idea works, great the problem is that when put in to practice it fails. Somebody already brought up the point why go through the hard work of becoming a doctor if you can paid the same amount working fast food.

Kind of like George Orwell 1984.

The concept of "equality" is a dream, a joke, a fantacy. In other words, "Bull Sh*t!" All I have to do is invite you to look at the reality around you.
