Shocking? Yes.

Surprising? No. At least it shouldn't be.

The country's teachers, in concert with their union, are on a systematic campaign to relieve parents of their desire, duty, responsibility and right to be the primary influence of decency, morality, philosophy and general conduct over their own children.

They are systematically trying to take over the future of our kids.

Many of us don't realize the scope.
An example of the other end of the spectrum:

My daughter, at age 10, was placed in a program for gifted students WITHOUT my knowledge nor consent. She was taken from her class and shipped to another school for two hours, three days a week. She not only had to participate in what they referred to as "An enrichment program for the gifted", she had to make up the learning she missed in her regular class.
My daughter is gregarious, funny, beautiful, friendly, bright and just great to be around kid who is very well adjusted and consistently got A's in school but, she is certainly not a gifted prodigy.
I didn't find out about this 're-placement' until I found her sobbing over the stress brought on by the extra work.

I marched myself into that school and conducted a re-orientation session for the psuedo intellectual cadre who presumed to know my kid better than I did. That was 17 years ago and I think they are still repairing the cracks in the foundation of the building that materialized during my tantrum.

If you are the parent of a school aged child, I suggest that you take some time to serve on the board of ed or at least attend meetings and urge the executive director to do whatever is needed to discourage the teacher's union from reaching into the minds of our youth to further their socialist agenda.

Check the source and you will see that you need to start at a very early age.
It's the story of wannabe academics embarking on the reeducation of children into the joys of collective ownership, resource sharing, and democratic participation in the means of production. These same teachers will laugh at the one dimensional minds of conservatives who consider this to be communism.
WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU CALL IT?

Forgive me if I sent it to you already.

Every parent with a child in this school, should take their child out of the school and homeschool them or put them in private school if possible. Or at least until the school stops with such &*^! Every parent should protest in whatever way they see fit !! It is crazy. What sort of message is this sending to the children. And that is what they are...children!!! What happened to teaching them to not have sex???
The pill does not stop STDs and HIV. Are children this age even mature enough to understand the importance of taking the pill everyday !! What if they give it to other children??? Where does it end???

incredibly the "information" has "missed" the Black Panther/Eric Holder deal, the 2000 internet site small financial corporation killer bill, the George Soros investment of Obama, the extreme traveling of the prez, the BP bankroll to obama, the NASA challenge via obama, the Barney Frank/Fanny Mae & Freddie Mac scandal which brought about the bust and extremely some greater overt operations and unlawful manipulations of the obama regime. Liberals can continuously remember to guard liberals no count how undesirable they are.

Why don't they give them condoms and spermicide too?

I can almost hear what they are telling these little ones, "These little pills are mommy and daddy's way of saying go ahead and experiment sexually, you are safe."

These pills do not stop STD's!

This is ridiculous!!!

I absolutely would work overtime to put my child in a private school if I lived in that district.
Not a new low for them, just a new one for us to hear. What are the long term effects of such a drug, thought so, I don't know either! Studies show that too early use of hormone based contraceptives cause cancer. Outside of the morality, Would you put your daughter at risk?

This is stupid. What is the reaction to other medication?

The parents should be inform about their minor children. Once, you reach the age of 18; then, there should be privacy issues.

I would take my kid out of the scholl district. I will then organize a recall of all the board members who vote in favor. Then, I will vote down any increase in school taxes in the local elections.

The only real objection I have is the medical issue. The medicines aren't designed for girls that young and I doubt they've been thoroughly studied in that age group. It isn't too young, because based on averages some of them are going to become sexually active in that age group.

Well it says the first in Maine. I wonder how truely prolific this idea is?
Its amazing you get that in any school. You can't get a school nurse where I live to give a diabetic kid his insulin. I mean these are RN's. They give insulin in their training. But handing out contraceptives is the medical complexity at which they function.

I say they should offer birth control pills in middle shool, then when the KIDS ask for them, beat the living hell out of them, screaming "what the hell is wrong with you!?!"

There is seriously something wrong in America when pre-teens are asking for birth control

Unfortunately the age of experimentation is getting lower and lower, especially as science is showing that both girls and boys are reaching sexual maturity at earlier and earlier ages.

I don't think its great that kids of this age should be doing anything of the sort, however, it is MUCH better to actually address the issue, than to sweep it behind the couch and pretend that it doesn't exist and that OUR kids really aren't doing it.
