last night i went to a 'ball gown give away' and they had this BEAUTIFUL ♥Vera Wang♥ dress that *I* got to take home....FOR FREE!!! i love it! it's a bit dirty so i have to take it to the cleaners. but shoot...it was FREE!

$270.00 for a dress, $300.00 for a leather jacket as a gift, but of course I don't own it. I seem to be attracted to the expensive clothes on the rack, but I can't afford the luxuries anymore, as I have a child. Gone are the days when I could just shop and see and like and purchase. Now I shop in all the TJMAX, Marshalls stores, mainly for my kid or home. I sometimes treat my kid to Striderite or Gymboree. I never treat myself. I wear whatever is clean, usually old, never in fashion - I learn to live with it
A little part of me would love to splurge on 'me', but mainly I'm happy, lol. Sounds funny.

a purse was 350
but i spent about $400 on a business suit kinda stuff. I was upper management and flew around a lot and had to dress nice.

I bought a pair of Ray-ban Sunglasses once for $180 (I was 18, Men in Black had just come out) and I sat on them a week later and broke them.

That I own right now, a black leather jacket, about 140.00. But that I will own for years. I quit spending alot on my everyday clothes, cause you get tired of everything after awhile. The black leather jacket however is timeless, so I can justify that.
