...accidentally of course. And no, rape is not an option. I mean, totally consensual sex. Who doesn't know to use condemns, who doesn't know that you can get birth control or at the very least Plan B for free...anonymously? I learned about sex, reproduction and the dangers of unprotected sex as early as the beginning of jr. high. But people are in their 20's (even 30's) are still accidentally getting knocked up? How is this possible, its 2007.

Okay, being alergic to latex is an excuse for why you don't use condoms...what about birth control?

Have you ever been in a weak time in your life when you are hurt and feel alone after getting smack around by your parents and told you were a mistake and told they wished you were NEVER born? have YOU ever made a mistake?
Yes I know all about condemns and I know all about birth control. but when you are at a weak point in your life you don't think about ANY of these things. I never set out to be a single mother. but it happened and I have been Forgiven by God which is all that matters to me.
Now I am a single mother to the best little Girl in the world. she is my life she also saved my life. YES I know it was foolish to do what i did. but when your hurting you just don't think of anything. I am now a better person a more caring person. and I talk to teenagers about the dangers of having Babies before your ready.
So PLEASE before you call someone stupid for getting pregnant take a few minutes and find out what lead them to that point. you might learn something.
P,S. This was the ONLY time i did this. ONE TIME and the mistake will haunt me the rest of my life. but at least I am taking care of my Daughter Without ANY handouts. God Bless

Pretty f'ing stupid.
However, in this day and age, there is no such thing, ladies - as "accidentally" pregnant.
You know how not to and you know how to.
Anyone who gets "accidentally" pregnant is either lazy or looking to get knocked up without telling the male.
I listen to Loveline and am bewildered at the number of people who are having unprotected sex. There's no excuse for it. Especially in this day and age of education about AIDS and STDs.

I think people trust contraception too much and don't realize (or ignore the fact) that they are not 100% safe.
Also some people just don't think in the heat of the moment. I suspect many of those "accidental" pregnancies happen while people are drunk and not thinking clearly.
I agree though, it's stupid to take the risk when fully aware of the possible consequences and then be surprised about the pregnancy. People need to stop thinking "it won't happen to me."

When condoms were introduced in India, they would put them on broom handles to demonstrate how they wre to be used.
So when the couples went off to have fun with their new contraceptive, they put them on the broom handles and then were shocked when they still got pregnant.

sometimes people who are really i love don't use condoms. my friend is allergic to latex and she says the other kind of condoms are expensive. personally i still don't think it's right that she doesn't use condoms. people make there own choices.
