When Coca-Cola was made, it was intended to be a headache medicine. It had a little bit of cocaine in it, but that was on the 1800 century. When it became a soft drink, the cocaine was taken out.

They also used cocaine as aspirin, to give people energy, and to lose weight. It was a miracle drug when it was first discovered.
When it was made illegal, it actually made a lot of middle class white women drug offenders because they were addicted to it.

The caffeine is now the main addictive ingredient in coca-cola.
