I read this in a bathroom stall. A person wrote "Does God Love homosexuals?" Then someone replied "Yes, but he doesn't love what they do."
Do you agree or disagree?
So god doesn't like it when you love another person with all your heart? just thinking >_<

No, I think you misunderstood what they said. God loves everybody. In the Bible, God speaks against homosexuality. Homosexuality is a sin. This means that although He loves the person, He does not love the sin they commit. God loves everyone despite what they do. Of course He likes it when we love others. In fact, He commanded us to love others many times in the Bible. Doing this is being obedient to God. And obedience pleases God. By the way, I do believe that God loves homosexuals. They are humans just like everyone else. I think they are a little confused and mislead, but capable of changing.

Of course God loves everyone! Homosexuality is quoted in the bible as an abomination in the eyes of God and it's a sin just like any other sin. God disapproves of all sin but he has also given us the chance to repent and turn from those sins by accepting Jesus Christ. We may still do wrong things at times but when we ask for forgiveness we are washed clean. We should love the Lord with all our hearts not mere men. If we truly love God then we will want to please him and do what's right and he will give us the strength to do so.

Most people have a skewed view of what Heaven and Hell will be. Heaven is simply forever with God and Hell is simply forever without God (Christians describe an eternity apart from God as "burning, lakes of sulfur, gnashing of teeth, etc). There is no "letting" one into Heaven. Now, what God does know is that being with Him is better than anything else so He wants us to choose Him for our own good. When we do, we get Him. But he lets us make the choice. If you don't want Him, he'll let you pursue anything you want! Christians call the pursuit of anything that is not God "Hell". So whatever it is you choose to be your number one priority, that will be your lot- forever. God will give you exactly what you want, unconditionally. It all stems from a point of view. I say God loves unconditionally because he lets you choose between Him or something else. You say God is conditional because if you don't choose him, you go to Hell. If you were a parent, would you make your kid stay with you after he grew up if he didn't want to? That would be unloving. But when your kid grows up, you let him go and let him make the choice.

Yes I agree with it. I think God wants to love everyone, but people who are not sincere in their attempts to turn away from sin (for example a homosexual who did not see his actions as a sin so did not attempt to address it) would be in trouble I think. I agree that a homosexual is often born that way, but so is someone with a birth defect - its an abnormality, something to try to deal with constructivelly.

Yes, God loves homosexuals. God does not love homosexuality. God doesn't love sin at all, whether it's lying, cheating, stealing, gossiping, or misusing sexuality. For reasons that I don't understand, this ignites fury in homosexuals. I got confronted about gossiping one time, and I didn't go into a tirade about religion and Christianity. When you're wrong, you're wrong, and if you don't agree you're wrong, then fine, so be it. There's no need to have a tantrum about it.

Isn't God supposed to love everyone.....but also, you weren't specific on which "god". So that plays a part too, possibly.

If God can love a Murderer or a Child Molester, wouldn't he also love a Homosexual? God loves us all, no matter what, he doesn't alway like or approve of things that we do. I think people need to leave it up to the person and God.
