how honest are you?

have you or would you ever lie(d) about who/what kind of person you are? please explain. and one more question, why?

I am a doctor and told a date i was a stripper. He believed me till he came to see me at work about a rash. DUH......think you are going to get the answer here with that question????

Lie?...usually not. Age only. Why? I'm seeking full time work and, in most cases, age is viewed as a liability rather than an asset. (We can talk all day about 'what it should be.') Meanwhile, I need to be working or at least 'earning.' I also would only discuss some of my difficult life experiences, if paid to do so. I don't call that lying, but some people do.

I am an honest person judging from what others say about me but I lie all the time and hope to continue lying simply because I use language. And as eminent linguists like Professor Sapir, will remind you, language was invented for the sole purpose of lying.

Yes unfortunately I've lied about who I was maybe to get some ones respect or attention but you know the longer I live my life I try to accept who I am and love me no matter how messed up I am.Besides the truth about who you really are always comes out!!I try to fix the things I know I do bad and embrace the things I'm aw some at!!!Every day is a day for learning and growing and enjoying!!

I have been known for brutal honesty. But I have also told some white lies to avoid hurting some one who has be kind to me. Like telling a friend her dinner was great when it really was bad. I am honest with my self and really imortant issues, but can not find it in my heart to hurt some one who has put forth such effort on my account, this may be wrong but i just can't do it.
