No! Not at all! I love Joel Osteen! He is a respectable, gentle, and genuinely nice man. My mom met him while visiting Lakewood in Houston, and said he stood and talked to her for like 10 minutes about where she was from and her family, etc... She said he was very engaging even with tons of other people waiting to talk to him! =)

Whether he truly believes everything he preaches or not I don't know - but he does come across as sincere. However, being genuine in his beliefs doesn't automatically make them true. I am one who wishes to follow Jesus The Christ but my view of those who preach what is sometimes referred to as the "prosperity gospel" is not good. Joel may be genuine but I don't think he best represents what God wants for us. I'm not Roman Catholic but I wonder how Joel and Mother Teresa would have got along (talk about differing takes on following Christ).

NO--Joel is not a fake. He is a very godly man and has a
gentle spirit. I think the world of him and no I would never
put anyone on a pedestal.

I don't think so. I believe he is a godly man and truly believes what he preaches. In other words, he talks the talk, but he also walks the walk. All preachers have their own style.

i don't know but i seen his wife and she's kind of ugly and he only wants her for sex and that's why he's always trying to preach like the rest of them fake preachers, trying to act like he's godly and perfect what a shame!!!
