Yes, it happens. The solution is to remember who you made your promises (marriage vows) to. Feelings may change but if you don't act on doing something wrong (like infidelity or longing after an old flame) then those misguided feelings will die away.
Work on strengthening the good feelings of your marriage and DOING things to strengthen those good feelings. Do things for your mate. Say positive things to him/her. Make him/her feel like he/she's the most important person in your life. It may take some time to swing around the wagon, but soon both you and your mate will be much happier with each other.

I'm happily married and my wife and I love each other so much that we are willing to sacrifice anything forone another. However, there was this girl back when I was in high school that I had a crush on since kindergarten. From time to time I remember her and the way I felt about her. I can't say if I still have a crush on her, since I 've not seen her for about 28 years. I can remember her face - the 'high school' face.

IT happens and it will go one day. Try to think about ur partner what if she was not there in your life .. I can tell u it is a temporary phase . . FEELINGS WILL CHANGE and u will see how u realize that she is best for u . ANY WAY IF THE OTHER PERSON WOULD HAVE LOVED U AS MUCH AS UR WIFE DOES ,THEN U BOTH HAVE BEEN TOGETHER . THE LADY OF UR DREAMS FOR ALL U KNOW may b despising u.. just playing and making a fool OF U

I'm not married and therefore not an authority on the subject, but I've been in a relationship where there was Another Woman and even when he was with me, I knew he was thinking about her and wanting her. Eventually, I told him to "have at her" and booted him out of my life. It was the best decision I ever made.

Just because he/she says he/she loves you, it doesn't mean anything if there's someone else waiting in the wings. I really don't know who to feel sorrier for...the 'dedicated' mate or the poor schmuck waiting on the sideline.

I am a female, happily married for almost 28yrs!!! I was married before and divorced. The first time, for 8yrs. There are still things that we are finding out about each other. There have been "spats", but married life is "no bed of roses, there are thorns along the way, you just have to weed them out!!
I cannot hardly wait for the next 28yrs!!!

when you marry you should be mature enough to exclude those thoughts of other people. Make sure there is NO possibility to have feelings for another. Remember your wedding vows. People who have affairs say 'it just happened', but it doesn't just happen. Not to people who are commited to each other no matter what.

No, I love my wife. She is the only woman I want and the only one I need. I only have thoughts for her.
I'd never even consider any other woman.

it happens all the time, so if you want to get married this is something you should expect. That does not mean that your husband is going to cheat on you. But it's not cute either.
