excellent move for the chargers and chambers. its like chambers hit the lottery. going from a crappy dolphins team to a really good chargers team. the chargers receivers havent been very threating so far. vincent jackson has been a huge disappointment. davis is still a rookie. parker is on the IL. so they needed to add a good receiver to the team and chambers is exactly that. pro bowl caliber receiver. he just had crappy QBs throwing him the ball. this frees up antonio gates since teams wont be concentrating on just him now. if the passing game is effective, so will the running game.

The Dolphins are morons Superstar,? because they get good value for a WR that has been inconsistent and never flahsed his potential? Yes he didn;t have the best qbs but he was quite inconsistent also though. He had no Tds for Miami this season. Chambers is a pretty good WR but not a no.1 receive but a good no.2 more like it. Miami is rebuilding anways the season is over so what does it matter that they traded. Having him didn;t seem to change or help Miami be winless.

And Ginn hasn't done anything? Well he's being brought along slowly as WR because Cameron wants him to learn the fundementals so that he will know how to handle the job correctly and not have a false perception from early success from his raw talent. He could have had more yards last week if Cleo didn;t miss a gimme pass to him that Ginn would have had a ton of yards aftert the catch since no one was around and his speed.

Ginn is not getting what done? He had a 57 yard kick off return called back and a 96 yard kick off return called back from a fickel penatly that had nothing to do with Ginn getting the TD. Ginn has been eased into the role. but apparently the coaches feel conifent or like his potentail with trading chambers. This means that now Ginn will be more involved than he was and now Cleo and Beck who can actually throw deep unlike Green will be able to get the ball to Ginn. Booker and Hagan will be the no1 and no.2 while Ginn the no3 for now, and he won;t have to take tike off, which he was from him and Hagan sharng the no/3 duties before.

I think it works for both teams, the chargers get offenseive help and Miami gets a good draft pick, which they need to gather picks to add youth and talent tot he defense.

Good for Miami to get rid of a subpar receiver for a good draft pick when the season is down the tubes anyway. Remains to be seen how it works out for the Chargers. Chambers isn't a standout receiver by any means, and I sure as heck don't believe he's worth a 2nd rounder. I think that A.J. Smith is continuing to make decisions that are going to end up escorting him right out the door of Charger headquarters, and into the unemployment line.
Firing a 14-2 coach.
Hiring a known loser as his replacement.
Trading high round draft picks for mediocre players.
Not the way to impress an owner.

I think it was a good move by the Chargers. I am sure chris Chambers will get back to being a top WR really quickly. I still am not sure what Miami was thinking.

Chambers hasn't done anything in a long time and is no longer anywhere near the NFL's elite WRs. It is simply an irrelevant move that will have little impact.

It should help, as the Chargers have barely adequate WR's.

I think they will win a few more games because of the depth he provides.
