I think for some like me it is a life long process in figuring that reason out. I also feel that it's BOTH to help your fellow man, and to get everything you can out of life. To get everything out of life not in the selfish manner, but instead in the living of life to the fullest of ones righteous potential. The principal reason would be to reciprocally give, and recieve love to one another as God the Father gave us his son Jesus and The Holy Spirit. For every action has a reaction and every choice has lasting reprocussions that tend to last way beyond your time.

I agree and the best thing a person could do is to help others. You must learn how you can make others be happy. Happiness is greatly felt by a person if good deeds had been achieved for others. His priorities in life is to make others live in happiness. Helping others is a great virtue of man. Having a big heart for others is making oneself bigger indeed. All our life will be useless if we will only think for ourselves. No man is an island.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

If we were put on earth for a reason, who originally had the idea? Has to be God. Your question requires God.
Without God your question is meaningless.
If we accept that God exists, then why wouldn't we seek God? If we accept that He exists, isn't He far more important than our invented purposes for living?
I think that God put our need for purpose and meaning into our human nature to point us to seek Him. Christians believe that we seek God by obeying His command to love one another for where love is, there God is also.
If we begin by seeking God, we will both experience God and through that experience, help our fellow man. If we begin by helping our fellow man, we will soon be doing only those things that make us feel good.

This world revolves around creation and destruction. It is an ongoing process. Now how you see the things depend on your own perception. But there is one sure thing that if we make our lives meaningful, we enjoy it otherwise do not enjoy it. So the choice is ours.

Yes!! That's it exactly. By doing what you enjoy most, you get as much as possible out of life. It's really that simple.
