Before you start saying I'm a lesbian, I'm not. I'm attracted to men, but I have so much anger towards them. I have not dated in three years because I do not want to deal with men and in a way seem happier. But it is getting to the point that I can't work with men or even deal with them in a store or restaurant. I always feel like men are out to screw me over or treat me like I am dumb or an emotional female. My sister recently got married. I told her that I would be in her wedding if I could walk down the aisle myself so I could symbolize independence. She did not take me seriously. This guy tried to grab my arm to walk me down the aisle and I would not let him and had a major hissy fit in a church? Why do I act like this?

Hi Luc: My father recently passed away. He was sick for awhile. I couldn't stand men long before my dad passed. It hurts a lot more now because my father was the only man that I ever trusted. As far as passed relationships, I was dumped every time except once.

selfish, immature, superficial, poor conversationalists, uninteresting, rude, selfish in bed, and *******!!
I HATE working with men too!! They are annoying as all get out!! I'm not a lesbian either...but I'm starting to see reality for what it is...Men are disrespectful PIGS!!!!

You have an issue with your father. You say he is the only man you've ever trusted. That is not a realistic experience. There are many men who can be trusted.
Having such a general anger is most certainly limiting your life very much. I hope you seek professional advice regarding this matter. It is more than can be handled on a website.
You have not mentioned anything that would indicate you are a lesbian. Beside, I don't believe hating men is a prerequisite to being a lesbian.
Hating anything or anyone as you describe will deplete much energy constantly. I'm glad you are asking the question because by doing so, you will start gaining insight into the issue.

You hate men because you have a working brain. Just think of how much better a world this would be if there were no men -raping, starting fights, starting wars, then endless violence they create.. Just what good do most of them really do. Heck, even Adam turned on Eve in the Garden and blamed HER for what HE did. Most of them are insecure losers who love to hurt women. Avoid them and you will have a good life.

Because you are a female. Probably smart too. Men have no idea what it is like to be around them for us. Lesbians by the way, do not hate men, they love women. It's ok you responded with an excess of emotion. Love the hell out of yourself.

It seems like a self fulfilling prophecy.
You have a lot of irrational beliefs and need to change them. What are you angry about? Dealing with the opposite sex is not easy. They are different in many ways. Mature people learn to deal with them and make a life with them. Enjoying all that come with that. and there is a lot to enjoy!!
You might also need a good lay.

Because you don t want to live my man s rules. Women in general don t even know that most sexist stereotypes and myths have been made up by men. Men create a world full of double standards and expect women to follow them and believe. They think it s ok to call a woman a slut, but they re "cool" if they sleep around with as many women as possible. Words are just words and women have to stop trying to please men, and get what they want, because women are equal and human also. Women have to stop living by what men think women should be and live for themselves.
There are men , who won t try and control you, and I hope you find the right one. But actually you can live very well, without a man. Rely on yourself not a man to make you happy. My independence makes me happy.

Can you remember a time when you did not hate them? Can you remember any circumstances that would cause such a violent hatred to come into your life? Some male has screwed you over, it stems from something. Do you have anyone you trust that you can talk to? If it were me I would want to find out where it comes from. Only because I don't like having that type of control over how I feel. I want to decide, not someone, something.

What ever self righteous attitude you may have and no matter how you feel justified in it but the fact of the matter is that you have an adjustment problem,men or no men.It's quite a minor one and most of us have it in some measure but yours has begun to affect in a more visible and obstructive manner.If you accept it and wish to improve your quality of life and inter personal relationship with others(men included)then you would know how to go about it.Which is again a minor thing.(Note:-The point is not attraction towards men or not being lesbian but a hidden conflict in your mind which has to be resolved.It's really painful to live with such an attitude and what for?)

I sort of feel like you really screwed your sister over. Aside from your anger towards men, this was your SISTER'S DAY. Not yours. You need to suck it up. Marriage isn't about independence. It's about UNION, CO-EXISTENCE AND MOST OF ALL, LOVE. You were a little too self righteous on that, I wouldn't be surprised if she wrote you off for that one.
You don't have to be a lesiban to be angry at men. Just like I don't have to be a homosexual to hate women. I hate women sometimes because they talk too damn much. Makes me want to stab them sometimes. Does that make me a horrible person? No. Does it make you a horrible person? No.
I'm not a doctor, but it certainly seems like there is some dirt that was just wiped underneath the rug between you and some man in your past. I don't know what. You claim to not know why you're angry with men, you just ARE. I at least know why I'm angry with women or someone else. Seems like you need to do some soul searching. As soon as you do that, then you can figure out how to fix it.
