GW's approval rating have slid to 24% according to newest Reuters/Zogby Poll.

if you're still loyal to The Cowboy of God you have to be either ...

a mega wealthy millionaire (have) or billionaire (have more) who benefits nicely from GW's tax cuts and the reduction in government oversight of corporate safty codes and pollution standards.
OR
you're a patheticly neoCONNED moron who stubbornly can't admit to having made a horrible mistake in voting for GW Bush (twice!).

my question is ... which of these 2 kinds of loyal GW supporters are you?

i knew some embarrassed 24 Percenters would bring up the poor showing in the polls for the Dem "controlled" Congress. they always do. they also alway manage to forget to mention the Dems in Congress get better approval ratings then the Repubs. the American citizenry KNOWS that it's the Republican backed presential vetos and Repubublican obstructionism that is stalling the passage of many important policies.
sorry... ya just can't deflect you shame by directing it at theDems. GW and his Congress enablers belong to YOU.

I'm part of the percentage on the opposite end of that spectrum who thinks that the bastard ought to be impeached for lying to the American people to facilitate launching an illegal and unjustified war and very possibly prosecuted as a war criminal in an international tribunal.

Nope, I like living in the world of reality. I had to laugh when you pointed out that the neocons always start braying about the Congressional poll ratings. They've been doing that for a long time, and like you, I have often informed them, with links to back it up, that the Dems are significantly higher in the ratings when the numbers are broken down. But they don't want to hear that, oh no! Guess the details are too complicated for them.

EDIT: Still laughing at the person who found the need to point out that in some polls his approval rating is up to 37%, or was it 34 lol? Wow, that makes it all better, a whole 37%. Pathetic.

To get a true picture you have to compile several polls, not just use the worse one

Monday, October 15, 2007
Thirty-seven percent (37%) of Americans approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Sixty-two percent (62%) disapprove. Those figures include 17% who Strongly Approve and 40% who Strongly Disapprove.

The Beloved Leader is concerned about his legacy in this, his lame duck term. And seems to be concentrating his efforts on earning the accolade of "Worst President Ever."

The only reason Congress has such low ratings is that there are still Republicans in it. A problem the voters get another whack at next year.

No, I am a 38% according to the latest NPV poll, or a 30% according to a CBS poll, or a 32% according to a USA poll, or a 32% according to the latest Gallop poll.

http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

But, you are referring to Reuters and the latest poll results that I can locate for Reuters were included in a recent story they ran and it said -

'Bush's approval rating stands at 33 percent, equal to his all-time low in this poll and just 29 percent approve of the job Congress is doing -- a 14-point drop since Democrats took control in January, the newspaper said.' -Tue Oct 2, 2007 5:57pm EDT

So, in that case, I am a 33%'er.

His ratings went up if you'd pay attention! From 32% to 36% but if you want to believe your liberal poll go ahead! It'll always tell you what you want to hear. Now lets talk about the ratings on the democratic congress!
Oh did I forget the I'm a proud GW supporter and that I would vote for him a third time if I could! GO GW BUSH!

Wow... it's been so long since I've seen an attempt at rational debate without name calling that I forgot what it looked like...

Oh wait... I must be talking to someone who actually thought Gore and Kerry had something going for them.

Get the dems to put up a real candidate that can stick to their principles even when the polls or their "base" disagrees and they might actually have someone worth voting for.

Flame away... wearing asbestos underwear today!

I'm not a scab so I did NOT vote for President Bush in either election!

Bush administration
It starts at the top with the United States’ most anti-union, anti-worker administration ever. President Bush’s National Labor Relations Board appointees include a former management attorney, and the board’s decisions have been consistently anti-worker and anti-union.
Last year board members voted 3-2 that academic student employees at private universities are not workers and therefore not entitled to federal labor law protection. They also voted 3-2 to deny nonunion workers the right to have a co-worker present during meetings that might result in discipline or firing.
