Oblivion: Glass Armor?

Question

i just re-started my game, and i need glass armor right away, but i cant remember where i found some last time, and i want it right now...anyone know where i can look for some? i dont mind killing someone to get it, im impatient, so the sooner, the better thanx

Well... I don't really think you can get it right away on a re-started game. It starts popping up when you reach higher levels. You might be able to find it on some important characters but chances are you won't be able to kill them unless you put the difficulty way down. I don't know of anyone that carries it off the top of my head but maybe in castles or in the imperial city there might be someone wearing it. Other than that you may have to wait until you get to higher levels.

Glass Armor shows up on Bandits once you get to like level 25.

There is a enchanted glass helmet though west of anvil underwater next to an island

The way Oblivion works is the objects and monsters are "leveled" this means as your level increases the level of items and monsters increases with you supposedly keeping the game balanced.
If you want glass early you can cheat.
Once you load your savegame, open the console by pressing the tilde key (the one to the left of1 or under Esc) the game should stop and you should have a cursor in the lower left of the screen, to add an item type exactly as you see below. Use return to move to the next line and press tilde again to return to the game.

You can't get glass armor until you reach level 20.

All products and all weapons drop off of creatures and stuff counting on your point of character. the sport will continuously throw monsters and stuff at you based on what point character you're. for occasion, interior a similar dungeon, you will no longer see any trolls at point a million yet numerous rats and goblins. Then interior a similar dungeon, at point 20, you will no longer see many rats and goblins anymore, yet extra ghosts and liches. Daedra is the ideal anyhow.
